Tsunami Anyer

On Saturday (22/12/2018), a tsunami hit Banten and Lampung was caused by abnormal tidal wave surge due to a full moon and an underwater landslide following the eruption of the Anak Krakatau Volcano in Banten Provinces. Most affected area which are Tanjung Lesung Beach, Sumur Beach, Teluk Lada Beach, Panimbang Beach, dan Carita Beach. According to National Disaster Mitigation Agency (BNPB)  had recorded at least 168 dead and 750 injured, while 35 remained missing. Hundreds of houses and other buildings were destroyed.   PT Gunungbayan Pratamacoal and PT Bara Tabang sent rescue teams, doctors and paramedics were sent to the locations of affected villages in collaboration with ESDM.  About 13 consist of rescue and doctor and paramedic teams to help the victims in the areas.

Lombok Mission

PT Bayan Resources Tbk is participated in the recovery of the Lombok earthquakes disaster by providing medical assistance, rescue and logistics to affected areas. Bayan Emergency Respone Team focuses on rescue, recovery and medical assistance.  Additionally, the team provides also schools assistance such as books and hand-bags.

Palu Mission

Following the high number of casualties and damages caused by 7.4 SR that struck Palu and Donggala that has left more than 2,000 dead, Bayan Group has released an initial IDR 2.4 billion in emergency humanitarian assistance. This funding provide assist the most vulnerable and help provide essential supplies such as foods, medical supplies and assistance in collaboration with Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM).  In addition, Bayan is deploying heavy equipment such as ; crane, bulldozer, dump truck  together with its 23 heavy equipment operator from PT Bara Tabang operation for about 2-months.

Humanitarian aid for the Mount Semeru eruption

Mount Semeru, in East Java, erupted on December 4, 2021, causing casualties and extensive damage to the local community and infrastructures. In response, Bayan Group provided logistical support and supplies to the "Disaster Alert" communal kitchen, coordinated by the Mining Inspectorate of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM). Bayan Group ensured the provision of essential supplies and meals to those affected communities and provide immediate assistance. 

Humanitarian mission for the Cianjur earthquake

On November 21, 2022, a 5.6 magnitude earthquake struck Cianjur, West Java, resulting in 602 fatalities, extensive damage to houses and infrastructure, and at least 327 recorded aftershocks until November 29, 2022. In response, Bayan Group's though Bayan Peduli program provided logistics support, one ambulance, and bore well installations in six locations. The Group deployed a 9-member Emergency Response Team comprising Search & Rescue, Paramedics, and Logistics personnel to assist in search, rescue, and medical operations.
