We emphasize great importance on workplace safety in all of our operations and implement Indonesian standards for industrial health and safety. Workplace safety is an important factor that we take into account when carrying out our expansion plans and increasing production capacity at the mines. Our mining contractors follow our guidance and are required to comply with such safety standards. We have recruited a certified ISO auditor and are working on implementing and obtaining certification for OHSAS 18001 International Health and Safety Standard.

We seek to minimize the risk of accidents, injuries and illness to our employees and our contractors’ employees by monitoring and improving our health and safety standards. We have formulated and followed policies designed to create a safe work environment. We audit our mining operations every three months to monitor implementation of our guidelines.
